IL PEZZO MANCANTE

IL PEZZO MANCANTE

The brand Il Pezzo Mancante, which translates from Italian as "the missing piece," was founded in 2010 by Cosimo Terzani and Barbara Bertocchi. Influenced by their passion for furniture and lighting production and deep admiration for their native Tuscany, they create a unique atmosphere in which the remarkable heritage of craftsmanship unfolds.

Immediately after graduating from university, Cosimo began working as a creative director in his family's lighting company, which allowed him to collaborate with world-renowned designers. In 2010, fueled by an unstoppable passion and bold creative vision, he decided to establish his own company. After a long collaboration with successful furniture brands, Barbara also chose to work on her own collection, leading to the creation of Il Pezzo Mancante with her husband, Cosimo Terzani.

The brand's designers pay great attention to shapes, textures, and colors, enabling them to create harmonious and aesthetically pleasing pieces. From elegant tables and chairs to original lighting fixtures, every element in the Il Pezzo Mancante collection has the potential to become a central focal point in any space.

The Il Pezzo 8 glass table features a transparent glass top that showcases its intricately designed legs, allowing one to appreciate the exquisite craftsmanship of the table. The design of the Il Pezzo 3 chandelier is inspired by Arabic calligraphic art. Meanwhile, the elegant and fluid lines of the Il Pezzo 2 dresser, combined with metallic and marble elements, seamlessly fit into various interior styles.

Il Pezzo Mancante aims to create not just furniture but also entire philosophical concepts and spaces where each element becomes a part of a unique story.
