Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese philosophical teaching that aims to create a harmonious and balanced space. In this article, we will discuss its main characteristics and how to enhance any interior with luxury furniture, lighting, and plumbing fixtures from Chinese manufacturers.
Feng Shui places great importance on the arrangement of the bedroom. It is recommended that this room be positioned away from the entrance to the apartment, the kitchen, and the bathroom to minimize outside noise that could disrupt sleep and relaxation.
To create a comfortable and soothing atmosphere in the bedroom, it is essential to use soft and diffused lighting, calm shades for finishes, furniture, and textiles, and remove unnecessary items.
It is advisable to prefer furniture with soft, rounded shapes and textiles made from natural fabrics, as this can also positively impact relaxation.

The modern kitchen is a multifunctional space where we cook, socialize with friends and family, and sometimes work. Therefore, its design must meet high standards: it must be aesthetically pleasing, highly functional, and practical.
The first thing to consider is optimizing the stove, sink, and refrigerator placement. This is the foundation of kitchen ergonomics. An equilateral triangle is a good option, where the sink or stove can be positioned at one of the corners. This triangle can easily be integrated into a corner layout, a U-shaped kitchen, or a linear kitchen with an island.
Dividing the kitchen into working, dining, and storage zones will also help organize the space and make it more functional. Keep in mind the size of the kitchen to ensure that the zones are not too cramped.
Choose the most spacious and well-lit living room. Sofas and armchairs with high backs and armrests, arranged as a cohesive group around a coffee table, will create a comfortable relaxation area and provide protection and coziness.
If the living room has a fireplace, make it the central element of the interior. Place a corner sofa or armchair facing the fireplace. Place a coffee table nearby for drinks to enjoy the flickering fire's warmth and comfort.
If you often use the living room for watching television and leisure activities, mount the screen on the wall and create a cozy area around it. Arrange the soft furniture so the image is visible anywhere in the room.
Layer lighting to adjust the room's atmosphere. In addition to the main chandelier, consider adding supplementary light sources: wall sconces, table lamps, and floor lamps.
In Feng Shui, minimalism is a key principle when decorating a bathroom. It's advisable to avoid excessive decor and remove unnecessary items from open shelves, as their presence can create visual clutter that hinders relaxation. You can read about other common mistakes in bathroom design here.
Another good solution is to decorate the bathroom interior in shades of one neutral color. This creates a calm and relaxing atmosphere while bringing visual interest to the space.
