How does the Chinese New Year affect Globus's work?

The Chinese New Year, also known as the Lunar New Year, is a significant and unique celebration among traditional Chinese festivals. It is celebrated over the first fifteen days of the lunar calendar, which is why the dates of the festival change each year, falling between January 21 and February 21.

In China, this time is celebrated with great fanfare. People return to their families from different corners of the country to spend time with loved ones. This is why, ahead of the holiday — which will be celebrated on January 29, 2025 — many factories close for an extended holiday, directly leading to increased order preparation time. Typically, processing and delivery times can extend by several weeks, depending on the volume and complexity of the order and the delivery location.

Preparation for the holidays

Product quality and deadline adherence are key factors for our clients. Therefore, we recommend placing orders 4-5 months before the Chinese New Year to ensure timely delivery.
